During our recent family stay at Famosa, we found it to be a suitable spot for our needs. As a mountaineer from Kathmandu, I appreciate comfortable resting places when I'm not scaling peaks, and this hotel provided just that. Upon arrival, we were greeted by friendly staff who ensured we felt welcome. We had booked a spacious room for four, which was well-equipped with essentials like a TV and mini fridge. We did face a little challenge as the elevator was out of order during our stay, leaving us with a set of stairs to climb to our sixth-floor room. Thankfully, it didn't dampen our spirits, especially since we traveled light. A few personal touches made our stay better. My kids, accustomed to warmer climates, felt the chill of the mountain air at night. The staff promptly provided an extra quilt, ensuring a cozy night's sleep. The hotel is conveniently located, and while parking was slightly pricey, the reasonable room rates balanced it out. Famosa created a friendly atmosphere, making it a decent choice for families looking for comfort after a long day of exploring.
